tbh it depends on what they've done. i'm like 100% over basically everything that happened in high school so i don't really care in that vein but like people who have recently done fucked up shit, as adults, i don't really have sympathy for. and even that is like. someone has to do something deeply fucked up for me to not let them back into my life lol.

I always give second chances as I believe everyone can change．I never & will never give third chances．If you screw up the second chance then you've proved to me that you're not willing to fix other issues that may happen in the future as well．

I dunno if I’m reading this right, but I think I only give them one chance. I tried being really forgiving and trusting once and it stabbed me in the back so badly.

nothing good ever comes out of second chances, not giving someone you care about a second chance is hard but it benefits you in the long run.

i in concept give everyone second chances always. though i try to be reasonable regarding how much one person is supposed to handle things.

like, if you mess up a billion times, and i don’t feel its a fundamental issue/it is but not one you intend to support, i’d forgive you forever. and i do. but if its hurting me to an extent, at some point i try to be reasonable regarding if i want to be around someone like that… but i’d still not blame them, you know.

those closest to me are those who have .. fucked up many times. but i don’t think they’re bad people, so i don’t get whats wrong w all the chances lol.

i used to give liiiiike a crap ton I had these one group of friends since like middle school andddd. from the beginning they always reallyyyyyy drained me but I only dropped them like less than a year ago 😭. I'm better about it now though god bless the block button wish I had one IRL

its half and half i feel? i feel like if the person is my friend and i really like them, then i try to give second or even third chances unless it comes up again. for strangers or enemies, tjen... yea im carrying dat shit to my grave. it also depends on how severe it was or if the thing hurt me by proxy or if it was direct.... yea a lot of factors play into it. in general i try to give everyone second chances though since i like to thjnk people have the capacity to change.
