i used to whistle a lot and when i worked in a kitchen i got told that whistling means you want the head chef to die/are trying to get him killed, it's like a curse or something? idk, kitchen people are very superstitious, and now I can't really whistle at all unless I concentrate really hard and even then it's difficult lol, so I'll go on a limb and say no, not really.
