YAYYYY OK i am not a film person so i'll just say some of my recent watches (which are not super recent because i rarely watch movies!!!!) also i have letterboxd

• the handmaiden (2016) LOLLL what do you expect from me!!!
• jennifer's body (2009) i watched this in october for the first time and it really is as good as everyone says it is. modern classic
• the matrix (1999) technically not a favorite of mine but it's burnt into my brain, i've seen it that much. so iconic so legendary everyone must watch it

im absolutely biased so i'll try to avoid x-men movies... matrix (1999), the perks of being a wallflower (2013) && princess mononoke (1997) because of the messages they send imo
