perhaps they had a very busy weekend?? or something happened or they were out of town and they simply did not see it? I don't think they hate you at all. It really depends on your history with this person - you say you've been on good terms, so I'm going to say I think maybe they got busy and forgot, read it and intended to respond then got distracted and forgot, had something drastic come up and didn't get a chance to see any messages all weekend, were feeling depressed and like everyone hates them so they didn't want to bother anyone with their dumb feelings that don't matter, or simply are trying to come up with a response and can't think of one!

i know it's easy to jump to "oh god I'm dumb they hate me wtf why did I say that I'm such an awkward dork wtf i'll kms" but let's maybe listen to Occam's razor and go with "the simplest explanation is probably the most likely." this might not work for scientific inquiries, but I find with people, many of them are not as deep or thoughtful as I assume they are, so let's not ascribe ill will or intent to what could be simple ADHD, distraction, or poor memory!!

maybe next time you see them, if you still feel like u wanna ask, say something like "hey i sent you a message over the weekend, did you happen to get it?" and then, this is my secret weapon for these kinds of interactions - say something like "a bunch of my messages haven't been going through lately so I wasn't sure if that happened so I was just checking up." sometimes, these kinds of ""harmless lies"" can help people save face, because lots of people HATE admitting they forgot, so giving them an out like this can soften the blow/make it easier for them to say "ah shit yeah I saw it but then i got a call from someone and by then i totally forgot." :nodders:
