mana your website is very inspiring and the "you can make a website" page is nice but it does not mention the biggest issue: what to actually put on it? I don't think I have anything to say or show.
me neither but i somehow put a bunch of shit on there!!
my advice on this (and i’ll update that page to say this as well next time i push an update) is as follows:
start simple with like an about me page. if you have a hobby, write about your hobby! even if it’s just like “i like crochet and i bought a bunch of yarn but i haven’t made anything yet” you can say what you wanna learn to make and then post what you bought. if you write stories or fanfics, it’s a great way to host your own work and you don’t have to worry about it being taken down or the site admin becoming a terf or something like that. make a page of all your blorbos and why you like them. make a page of your favorite books. make a page of any of your favorite anything really. make a shrine to the best coffee or cake or whatever that you ever had. make a page that’s just concerts you’d love to go to someday. make a page talking about your personal style if you’re into fashion or how you do your makeup or hair if you’re into that. make a mixtape for your website, like a soundtrack, that your followers or visitors can download and listen to while they browse!
start small and i think you’ll find that eventually the ideas for what would make a good page on your website will come to you.
in the meantime i’d suggest checking out the indie web wiki for common pages you could make! check this page under examples: https://indieweb.org/page
