I'm doing homework, but entertain me a little: Is it better to have loved and lost, or to never have loved at all?

I believe a majority will argue for the former, I do wish to see an argument for the latter because I cannot fathom it either. Though, just answer what comes naturally! I'm just asking for curiosity's sake.

I mean… personally i sometimes wish I didn’t love at all due to past experiences and such blah blah blah, but I think that the moments I shared with that person/people were good times regardless.

So… I guess loved and lost!

I think it's better to have loved and lost. Love is an experience that is wonderful, an emotion that's sweet and full of happiness. Loosing however is bad.. but what's life without the bad turns? People say you can't appreciate good without feeling the bad, and I agree with it.

I believe in the former. It is an experience made challenge to further encourage growth, and healing. When we are unfamiliar with such possible situations, how will we learn to combat such without severing our stability the more?
