hello all

today i had a chat with a friend about loyalty. to me, it's the most important thing in my relationships, honestly. to not hurt each other, and to stay loyal. only reasonably, of course.

what is the most important aspect of friendship, to you?

as my boyfriend said respect is a big thing for me too... also loyalty like you said, especially in romantic relationships for me. maybe thats just because ive been cheated on but loyalty is a very big thing for me

most important thing to me is respect... half because it's very broad and loyalty + many other things come with it, but, like. if my words, actions and feelings are not respected in ANY kind of relationship, I'm not going to be a fun person to spend time with

understanding, i believe a friendship without one understanding each other cannot work and would lead to fights & then to the end of it, a good friendship includes understanding your friends, who they are and how they are, why they are the way they are and how important it is to understand them

i don't really see why it's looked down upon to feel this way. to me, like, relationships are just bonds and how close you are WITH loyalty. it doesnt matter how much someone knows about me,,, if they decide to leave me, then i won't stop them, you know?

Someone who understands me and actually makes me feel valid ♡

.. And I do have a friend like that who is very dear to me. ♡

communication, without a doubt. above all i value clear communication with my friends, being sure that they're ok, knowing what i can or can't do for them, just talking with them and seeing how things are. it's really important to me and i share the same value in every social based matter i find myself a part of (think moderation)
