( AA ♡ ) Honestly this isn't aimed but I hate rentry spaces because I literally don't care if you have /doll or /angel ur obsessed with an url.. And most people spend MONEY for urls which is crazy because what if you grew up as a 21 year old or something and had to save money and you spent it on fucking urls noboyd spends 200$ or more for a GODDAMN URL. ur gonna look back at this in the future and say "yeah im gonna huzzah muyself"
i don't know, people used to say that, but i've been on rentry for a long time (relatively) and i've never thought i would "huzzah" myself because i spent like 10 dollars on a url, you know? it's just a fun thing to do. so long there continues to be a community, the money spent on urls will mostly continue to have value i think. like, spending money before the request system would have been sort of sad, now, because you couldve gotten it much easier now that its always switching hands and owners. but i don't foresee anything alike to the request system happening soon, so they'll likely continue to keep their community based value, i think.
tbh I could care less how ppl send their money if they have the money to like buy a url then that’s their choice tbh. could never see myself doing that tho cause like what about when rentry goes down and never goes back up 😭
People with disposable income can spend it however they want. Though I'd spend that money on a domain that's cheaper rather than a URL on Pastebin that could go down easily, especially with a lot of users on it who hoard URLs. I plan on doing that when I'm older and want a website for my business, it just feels more professional and personalized. I just find it absurd people would spend hundreds on URLs when I freely obtained mine... but I understand people not having that fortune that I have, so they have to buy the URLs for a chance of getting them.
People can do whatever they want with their money! Admittedly I do begin to internally tweak out whenever I hear of someone paying $700 for one url but. That's just me.
I don't think anyone is going to spend money they know they can't make back 🤔
