I hate when people claim to change and then just. Never do.

It's because they can't truly take accountability for their actions so they lie and swear they'll change

Sort of reminds me of my ex… he only changed just to get back with me and when he couldn’t get what he wanted he told me he hated me and hoped I “could cease to exist”.

This! Especially when they can't accept their flaws. Accepting your flaws is the first step in changing. If you can't realize that, then you won't be able to change.

At that point, don't even say you changed if you didn't it's pointless and upsetting. I don't get why some people say that and they STILL act the same. Huan also basically summed it up perfectly. :p

I've had people tell me that I'm in the wrong for holding grunges against people for stuff like this but I always end up being right...

It’s honestly frustrating. If nothing’s different, then why say you’ve changed? Change should show through actions, not just words.🤍
