I love getting philosophical in the middle of the night...
as much as I admit that I miss the "old times," I wouldn't bring them back. what's done is done, there is no changing it. I'm too afraid of what changes in the future anyway. I'd much rather have things just the way they are now than to mess around with it and get an entirely different life- even if it's better in a way or two. Everything that happens does so for a reason which is not always in my hands. I could never enjoy reliving the past knowing what happens. It would drive me insane knowing what will inevitably happen, but also not knowing what could happen if I change a decision.
