whats your favorite and your least favorite thing about the rentry (or pastebin) community? 🧁
💭 for moots that arent in those communities : whats the best thing about your fandom?

I like the creativity. I hate how a lot of you throw things out of proportion. It’s very EXHAUSTING!

i love simple rentry, like actually. and my least fav thing is rentry with too much symbols and fonts, had to squint my eyes to read whatever appeared on screen.

answering to the second question too, i think, in TXT fandom the best thing about it is the song, and the members. they're jawdropping

fav is those jawdropping metadata rentries with the moving buttons and stuff...least fav is empty links

I think the best thing about rentry is you own it. If you have a url that you think matches you, you literally own it

i really like the creativity and how we managed to build something meaningful from just a stupid pastebin site. unfortunately, however, most rentry users i have met have insanely inflated egos and are extremely passive aggressive to people that aren't their friends. (especially those who have "bad " urls, are new to the community, etc.) also, you can't trust anyone because everyone for some reason hates and shit talks each other. because of this, despite being a rentry user for years, i somehow still haven't made a single friend 😭

I love expressing my creativity on Rentry! Web design is one of my dearest interests so I’ve been trying to up my Rentry game (see /lace). I also like the mods for communicating to their community. They’re extremely competent people.

As for what I dislike… the users who want to cause more drama instead of resolving it. They just get people into drama that could’ve been resolved in DMs. It’s like nobody knows what the block button is…

I can't think of anything positive off the top of my head but there are stuff but for least favourite lowkey is just how chronically online it makes me feel
