spring is no longer in service as of 2025-12-01.

this was a long time coming. the site has been effectively 
unmoderated for months, and as the months passed, it 
continued to weigh on me that i was not only lacking in 
ability to moderate the website, but that the thought of it 
made me anxious. it is inexcusable of me to have let the 
site continue to stay in service and available as long as i 
have, and so i can no longer do so.

i am sorry for abandoning the site, as well as for how i 
conducted myself throughout 2025. at the same time, i 
understand that i did the best i could with the behavior i 
was shown and the response i often got for how i ran the 
site.

i am also sorry for such an abrupt shut down. i cannot help 
users get in contact with others. your data will not be 
available for export as this is not an easy or available 
function of the retrospring software.

thank you to the users who worked with me and did their 
best to make my life easier in running spring. thank you to 
those who were kind and understanding, and if you wish to
